A spokesperson volunteer speaks on behalf of The Blood and Tissue Center about the need for life-saving blood and tissue donations from a personal perspective. They may be a blood recipient; they may have a child, parent or spouse who uses blood or blood products; they may donate on behalf of someone who uses blood products; they may be tissue recipients or families of tissue donors.  Their testimonies come from the heart and inspire others to see that “Life is in your Hands.”

Responsibilities:

Share their story as requested by The Blood and Tissue Center at meetings and events. 

Qualifications:

Outgoing, flexible, and ability to speak in front of a variety of groups.
