Volunteer delivery drivers perform scheduled pick ups of blood components from our mobile donor buses and donor event locations in the Central Texas area, delivering the boxed components to the Blood and Tissue Center at 4300 North Lamar Blvd., Austin, Texas.

Responsibilities:

Drive a Blood and Tissue Center vehicle from the 4300 N. Lamar Blvd, Austin, location to donor event sites and bus locations. Retrieve donated boxed components and return to 4300 N. Lamar Blvd, Austin in a timely manner. Deliver boxed components to specified locations on an as-needed basis.  Check vehicle and gas up as needed according to Transportation procedure.

Qualifications:

Drivers must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, an acceptable driving record, proof of insurance and be at least 21 years of age, and defense driving on-line training completion.
