Volunteer Opportunities
Center Ambassador Volunteer
Goal of Position:
Center Ambassador volunteers play a pivotal role at our North Lamar Blood and Tissue Center by connecting with donors, engaging them in conversation about the programs of the Blood and Tissue Center.
Responsibilities:
Greet donors at the center, welcoming and directing them as needed. Engage donors in professional, appropriate conversation, answering basic questions about the donation process. Provide correct information about the programs of the Blood and Tissue Center. Assist in the canteen area as needed, providing refreshments and assisting donors with logging on to the High Five Online Store. Thank donors for their time and contribution, and encourage their return.
Qualifications:
Friendly, out-going, personable, flexible, and a team-player. Completion of The Blood and Tissue Center’s “Own It” Customer Service Training.
