Educating future blood donors is an important part of keeping our community’s blood supply available for Central Texas patients. The Blood Center encourages young people to get involved with blood donation at an early age. We provide a number of fun, educational programs for younger students, as well as a High School program called Get a Grip. Get a Grip centers around rewarding and recognizing area High Schools and students who host blood drives.
