Mobile Team Phlebotomist (000312): Responsible for determining donor eligibility, performing phlebotomy techniques, and managing adverse donor reactions. Also, need to maintain excellent donor relations at blood drives.  Responsible for set up and take down of drive.  Qualified candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule.  A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Prefer 1 year experience in taking vitals and/or phlebotomy. Certificate in phlebotomy, medical assisting, EMT, or nursing assistant is preferred and may substitute for experience.

 

Apheresis Technician – Part time (002320): Duties include determining donor eligibility, performing apheresis procedures, and managing donor reactions. Qualified applicants must have a minimum 2 years experience in phlebotomy, plasma, dialysis, or apheresis. Blood center experience or training, a medical background, or experience using automated machines is preferred. Excellent donor relations, attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work weekends are required. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, LVN license is a plus.
